I’m a writer at heart who became enamored with the medical field, but ultimately could not resist the allure of writing.
For the past ten years, I have been building a career as a Paramedic. In that time, I have obtained my critical care license, built an employee on-boarding process as the coordinator of new-hire training, taught at a state-wide level, and progressed to management as my agency’s Director of Operations. After attaining these accomplishments, I realized that I greatly enjoy technical and user experience writing and I am now pursuing a career in writing.
I have experience researching, developing, testing, and editing technical documents and user flows. In my writing, I have adopted multiple voices and tones to convey my message to various audiences. I have extensive medical training, a Bachelor’s degree in English, and I have completed the UX Writing Hub UX Writing Academy, specifically aimed at making me a better user experience writer.
